Raffles4u: Terms and Conditions for Raffles

Welcome to Raffles4u. These terms and conditions govern your participation in any raffle organised by Raffles4u. By purchasing a ticket and participating, you agree to comply with them. Please read them carefully before entering any of our raffles.

Eligibility

1.1. You must be 18 years or older to participate in any raffle hosted by Raffles4u.

1.2. Participation is restricted to residents of the United Kingdom.

1.3. By entering the raffle, you confirm that you meet the age and residency requirements. Proof of identity and age may be required before a prize is awarded.

1.4. Employees of Raffle4u/ GFOW, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the organisation of the raffle are not eligible to participate. 

2. How to Enter

2.1. Entries can be purchased through the official Raffles4u platform at https://raffles4u.uk/ or other authorised channels.

3.2. Each raffle will specify the entry cost and the closing date for ticket purchases.

3.3. All ticket purchases are final, and no refunds will be given except in the case of cancellation of the raffle.

3.4. Multiple entries may be permitted, but any limits on the number of tickets that can be purchased per person will be specified for each individual raffle.

3.5. Entries must not be purchased on behalf of individuals under the age of 18.

Raffle Draw

4.1. The date and method of the raffle draw will be specified on the raffle page.

4.2. The draw will be conducted fairly, using either a certified random number generator (RNG) or another independently verified method of random selection.

4.3. If a raffle does not meet the required number of entries or for any other reason must be cancelled, participants will receive a full refund.

4.4. The result of the draw is final, and no correspondence regarding the outcome will be entered into.

Prizes

5.1. The prize(s) for each raffle will be described on the raffle page. If said prize is a vehicle, it is the buyers responsibility to carry out pre purchase HPI checks.

5.2. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative unless otherwise stated.

5.3. Winners will be contacted using the details provided at the time of ticket purchase.

5.4. If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 72 hours of the initial contact, Raffles4u reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative winner or dispose of it as they see fit, in line with applicable regulations.

5.5. Raffles4u will bear the cost of delivering the prize to winners within the United Kingdom, unless otherwise stated. International shipping costs, if applicable, must be borne by the winner.

5.6. Once a prize is delivered, Raffles4u are not responsible for any insurance, maintenance or defects 

Payment and Entry Fees

6.1. All entries must be paid for at the time of purchase through the payment methods specified on the Raffles4u platform.

6.2. Entry prices and any associated fees will be clearly stated on the raffle page.

6.3. Any entries that are incomplete, unpaid, or otherwise invalid will not be included in the raffle. 

Winner Announcement

7.1. Winners will be notified via the contact details provided upon purchase within 24 hours of the draw. 

7.2. Winners will be announced on the Raffles4u platform and/or social media, but participants may opt-out of such announcements by notifying us at the time of entry.

7.3. By entering the raffle, you agree to allow Raffles4u to use your name and location for promotional purposes, and agree to participate in media related activities when the prize is delivered.

Responsible Gambling

8.1. Raffles4u promotes responsible gambling. If you believe you may have a gambling problem, we encourage you to seek help from organisations such as GamCare (http://www.gamcare.org.uk) or BeGambleAware (www.begambleaware.org).

8.2. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a participant's involvement in any raffle if there are concerns regarding problem gambling or if they are found to be in violation of these terms.

Taxes and Legal Compliance

9.1. Any taxes, duties, or other fees arising from the receipt of a prize are the responsibility of the winner.

9.2. Raffles4u will comply with all legal obligations, but winners should seek their own advice regarding the tax implications of their winnings.

Liability

10.1. Raffles4u, its employees, or agents will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the raffle or the acceptance of any prize.

10.2. We are not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, or misdirected due to technical or other reasons beyond our control.

Cancellation or Changes

11.1. Raffles4u reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any raffle at its sole discretion if there are reasonable grounds to do so, such as insufficient ticket sales, fraud, or technical issues.

11.2. If a raffle is cancelled, all participants will be entitled to a FULL refund of their entry fees. 

Data Protection and Privacy

12.1. Raffles4u will process personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

12.2. Personal data collected will be used for the purposes of administering the raffle, contacting winners, and complying with legal obligations.

12.3. By entering a raffle, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

13.1. These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising from participation in Raffles4u, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

13.2. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

General Information: This raffle is promoted by Raffles4U (“the Promoter”). This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform. Raffles4u is open to legal residents of the UK who are aged 18+. Employees of Raffles4U, their immediate family members, and affiliated companies are not eligible. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility.

Tagging friends in the comments is optional and will not increase chances of winning. Sharing the post is optional and is not a requirement for entry. Entries that do not meet the stated criteria will be disqualified. Participants can enter the raffle for free by completing the following actions: Follow the official “@ethanoverton” on Instagram. Direct message @rafflesfouryou on instagram with your legally recognised first name, complete second name or surname, a valid and active email address for contact purposes, a functioning and accessible phone number, your full and street address, an additional secondary street address if applicable, the city in which you reside, the county associated with their location, their correct and complete postcode within the UK. You should also make it clear what competition you are wanting to enter. It is essential that each entry submission should be done separately and contain all of the relevant information within either one direct message to be considered valid for the upcoming prize draw. You should have an account already registered with Raffles4u for your entry to be added. 

By entering, participants agree to: Abide by these Terms & Conditions and platform rules. Allow Raffles4U to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes. Release Raffles4U and social media platforms from any liability related to the raffle.

The Promoter reserves the right to: Disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms & Conditions. Modify, suspend, or cancel the raffle if necessary. Participant information will only be used for administering the raffle and will not be sold or shared.
